B-Fly

Real Name: Sherani Capricia Taylor
D.O.B.: January 24th, 1982 Compton, California

Label: Brazil St. Records

Also known as B-Fly, Sherani grew up with her biological parents, George Taylor and Lynette Baker. She also grew up with her three siblings, Tiasha, Jayceon (The Game) and Breahna. Aside from them, B shared her biological father with three half-siblings, one of whom is George Taylor Jr. (AKA Big Fase 100). Big Fase was a founding member of their brother, The Game's label Black Wall Street Records. As presiding CEO and founder of Brazil St. Records, Fase gave his sister her break as the first signee to the Los Angeles-based label.

B-Fly's earliest influences came from her father who was a very poetic writer. She discovered a passion in writing poetry, rhymes and jingles. This talent was soon merged with another strong influence and introduction to hip-hop via her older brothers, The Game and Big Fase 100. Aspiring entertainers themselves, B-Fly learned the trade from the shadows of her brothers as they rose through the industry. The Game now stands as one of the most recognisable rap figures across the world today.

Her determination, talent and connections has afforded her with the opportunity to shine in her own right as a recording artist. She has since began writing her first novel, "The Life of a Female Rapper." This will give an insight to her upbringing alongside two of the West Coast's biggest figures and the pit falls of a female emcee trying to break into the industry.

The first released song from B-Fly was done with friend Kesha and has since opened up for Quik, 2ndIINone, Suga Free and is currently the reigning champion on K-Day Blow It Up Or Slow It Up. She has also been featured on several mixtape joints from her brother's record label; Brazil Street Hustlaz (Brazil Street Records), Compton Life (Brazil Street Records), Living Like A Rock Star (Terry and C-Styles) and "Caltroit" with Bishop Lamont.
B-Fly has been interviewed in several high-profile magazines, Sister2Sister, AllHood and will be featured in the following XXL Magazine. She is currently working on her solo album entitled, "B-Fly... Life Is Like..."

On October 20th, 2008 B-Fly was shot outside her home in Compton. She suffered a single bullet wound to the torso and is in stable condition.
