Jermaine Dupri released his book Young, Rich and Dangerous: The Making of a Music Mogul on October 16, 2007.
an autobiography that charts his career as a producer. The book was co-written with Samantha Marshall and released in hard-cover by Simon & Schuster's Atria imprint. The New York Post reported on February 28, 2008 that Dupri proposed to Janet Jackson, and that the couple is busy planning their wedding as well as recording a handful of songs for her new album Discipline. According to Billboard.com, the autobiography is co-authored by journalist Samantha Marshall, who also assisted Warner Music VP Kevin Liles with his book Make It Happen: The Hip-Hop Generation Guide to Success.
