T.I. Signs Three-Pcture Deal With Screen Gems

T.I. has just inked a three-picture deal with Screen Gems opening with the launch of the crime drama "Bone Deep" co-starring Idris Elba and Matt Dillon.

This long-term investment contract will see the rapper financially secure his family while he undergoes a yearlong prison term for weapons possession beginning next spring. The next project is set to be the drama, "Boulevard," starring T.I. The third picture will be determined later.

Until this, T.I. has only two credits to his acting resume, "ATL" and "American Gangster".

These screen projects will be scheduled around the legal complications of T.I. in the following months and his six-episode MTV reality television project. This will chronicle the 1,000 hours of community service before being sent to serve his prison sentence.

"Bone Deep" centres around a gang of bank robbers who pull off a daring highrise heist and held to one last job by a freshly paroled cohort. This series will be headed by John Luessenhop who co-wrote the script with Gabriel Casseus, Avery Duff and Peter Allen. T.I. and his Grand Hustle Entertainment partner Jason Geter have joined Will Packer as producers.
