Ludacris Works Detox with Dre

In a surprising yet interesting turn of events, recent actions by a trifling, mystery person revealed a bombshell. The “Mouth of the South,” Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges, was outted as one of Dr. Dre’s main contributors for his long awaited album, Detox. “O.G.’s Theme,” a demo version of a track that is scheduled to appear on the album, was performed by the legendary Atlanta rapper with him trading in his patented southern baritone stylings for a more relaxed and casual flow; an obvious attempt at mimicking the good Dr.

Luda vented some of his frustrations through his Twitter page, where the southern behemoth said, “Not sure how this leaked. It was fun trying to sound like Dr. Dre!”

Luda is not the only ATLien to help Dre with his long awaited project. None other than T.I., the King of the South, is said to also be ghostwriting for the West Coast legend. “Coming Back,” a track rumoured to be on the ever elusive album, was leaked onto the internet a few months ago. No official confirmation has been given by TIP as to whether he is officially involved in the project.

Kanye West Top Billin' on Billboard

Not quite making the mark of the previous Platinum-in-a-week 'Graduation', Kanye's '808's & Heartbreak' reached number one with 450,000 sales upon it's initial week's end. Recession, internet piracy and a creative effort swaying against the grain can be formed into reasons of weaker sales for kanyeezy, but still impressive for today's industry.

But aspiring to be better than Elvis Presley?...

The Game Has Bentley Towed - Talks of Third Album

According to TMZ, Game was stopped by authorities around 7 p.m. "His car was towed because the tag has been expired for more than 6 months," Glendale police spokesperson John Balian said.

Game, who was also cited for not having proof of insurance, will have to pay fines, late fees and produce an insurance card to recoup his ride from the police impound.
In related news, SOHH recently chopped it up with Game to talk about how his third album, L.A.X., may possibly be his last. The controversial emcee compared his short career to The Notorious B.I.G.'s, saying sometimes "three albums is enough in hip-hop." [Watch Below]

"Biggie only had two albums and that was enough for people," Game explained. "People say he was the greatest rapper alive, which is one of the things I agree on, but he only had two albums.

L.A.X., which hits stores on July 8, features production by Kanye West, Cool & Dre and Just Blaze along with appearances by Common, Ludacris, Ne-Yo, Raekwon, Busta Rhymes and Marsha Ambrosius of Floetry.
