The Game to Join Westside Connection!

The Game is on call to be offered a part in one of the west coast's most legendary posses, Westside Connection. The Don Mega: Ice Cube's camp is sending out whispers that Cube is prepping to invite The Game to pledge allegiance to the west.

After the bicker and beef between long-standing cohorts, Mack 10 and Ice Cube the Westside Connection project was shelved after just two bangin' albums as Mack 10 quit the group, record label and association with Ice Cube and WC. The Game replacing Mack 10 seems natural, Blood in Blood out. This could stop The Game from retiring after his August release of LAX.

Cube reportedly stated that after the August drop of new album, Raw Footage, he will start working on a new Westside Connection project with a new member.

On Raw Footage their is a track called, "Get Use To It" featuring The Game and WC. Game was previously featured on WC's latest album Guilty by Affiliation.

Ice Cube Talks New Film, 'Janky Promoters'

Ice Cube is reuniting with director Marcus Raboy and comedian Mike Epps for the new flick “Janky Promoters,” it was announced today.

The trio helmed the last film in the “Friday” trilogy, “Friday After Next.” “Everybody Hates Chris” star Terry Crews will also join the ensemble cast.

“Janky Promoters” follows Cube and Epps, a pair of shady concert promoters who get in deep trouble when presented with the chance to book a marquee hip-hop name for a big show. The big name will actually be a rapper, but the deal hasn’t closed yet, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

“[The movie] is cut from the same stone as “Friday,” Raboy said in a statement. “It’s definitely new characters and a new world here, but it’s of the same vibe. It’s gonna be grounded but colorful. We’re not trying to do broad comedy; we’re trying to do comedy with an edge.”

Cube will produce the film alongside his Cube Vision partner Matt Alvarez.
