WU TANG'S NEW JOINT, '8 DIAGRAMS' RELEASE DATE SHIFTED BACK
Wu Tang's highly anticipated new album, '8 Diagrams" has been moved from November 13th to December 4th this year.

The reason for this is down to obtaining the offical clearing of The Beatles' “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” interpolation on one of the album's hot-singles, the tentatively-titled track, "The Heart gently Weeps." The song will feature son of Beatles' George Harrison, Dhani Harrison and John Frusciante of the Red Hot Chili Peppers with Erykah Badu on the chorus.

"8 Diagrams" has seen various shifting release dates, originally slated for a September drop. Already the album's street-hit, "Watch Your Mouth", has been circulating widely online for some weeks now. The aforementioned track is now available on Loud.com to members.

BAY AREA "VAN" PACK RELEASE THEIR BASED SOUND ON DÉBUT ALBUM OUT SOON!
From the young upstarts who brought us the infectious slam-hit of 2006, "Vans" are flexing themselves for the release their début album, "Based Boys". The four-piece Bay Area group, The Pack have hinted a new future with their distinct and creative brand of "based music" that looks to take over hip-hop's soundscape.

One of the strongest rotating singles of last year, "Vans" took the fifth position in Rolling Stones hottest 100 for 2006. Damonte "Lil' Uno" Johnson, Brandon "Lil' B" McCartney, Lloyd "Young L" Omadhebo, and Keith "$tunna" Jenkins make up the group, discovered by Oakland legend, Too $hort are offering up their enthusiastic, trendsetting branch of hip-hop music on a new album, "Based Boys" labelling "based" as the name of their specific brand of music. A new horizon of music modelled off the tastes and culture of a skate-generation.

This is a follow-up to their 2006 "Skateboards 2 Scrapers" 7-track EP featuring their "Vans" hit. The 17-track full album is an odyssey of rhyme and rhythm from their in-house producer and member, Young L. The album will also host production from Ying Yang and bubba Sparxx producer, Mr. Collipark, Jeezy's own DJ Speedy and Pit from Shop Boys, "Party Like a Rock Star". After the "Vans" hit, they pick right up on "In My Car" as their first single.

The Pack have already established a strong following with an online fanbase created off MySpace and YouTube at 17 million strong. Their MTV episode of, “You Hear It First” became the most downloaded and viewed show in MTV.com's history. It was a low-budget video originally shot primarily for YouTube distribution but quickly climbed to the number 1 video podium on MTV2. Already the members are satisfying huge demand by filming three separate episodes of MTV's Super Sweet 16, including Chris Brown's special edition Super 18. Before their album was even finished the boys glossed the pages of XXL, Vibe, Spin, Blender and Thrasher magazines!

Their short careers have catapulted them into the hair-lines of mainstream's scope, ready to be the main-aim by most outlets toward the end of the year. "Based Boys" hits the streets on October 16th from $hort's Up All Nite/Jive/Zomba Records. The teens will also be touring alongside Gym Class Heroes later this fall. The dawn of a new era.
