NEWS: DMX To Be Freed Today

From AllHipHop News: Rapper DMX could be a free man later today, after serving six months in an Arizona jail for violating the terms of his previous probation.
In March, DMX was sentenced to six months in jail, after the rapper tested positive for having cocaine in his system, a violation of his previous probation.
According to a tweet from longtime producer Dame Grease, DMX is slated for an early release today, almost two months earlier than anticipated.
Multiple sources told AllHipHop.com that DMX would be hitting the road for spot dates shortly after he is released.
DMX may also join the cast of Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab as well, as producers are still scrambling to find troubled stars to participate in the show.

Lil Wayne's Open Letter From Jail
It's been less than a month since Lil Wayne officially checked in to begin serving a one year jail sentence at New York's Rikers Island facility.
The Southern emcee has checked in from behind the bars with an open letter to fans, friends, and supporters. In the letter, posted at the rapper's new website WeezyThanxYou.com, Weezy thanked fans for the countless letters of support. Read below.
Lil Wayne's open letter - titled "Gone 'Til November"
During my prison stint, I want my fans to know I love you. I want all of you to know that I appreciate all the mail I get, and this is my way of saying thank you. The F is for Family, Friends, and Fans.
Love. Live. Life. Proceed. Progress. That's who I am and who I'll always be. You see, we're all living on borrowed time, so I'm not worried about this situation. Life happens quick. The more time you spend contemplating what you should have done…you lose valuable time planning what you can and will do. Trying to tear down the past prohibits you from building up your future. So for my time here, my physical will be confined to the yard. My love and my spirit, however, know no boundaries.
I'm in good spirits man, for real. My kids race through my mind all day. They know they were created with love, so love is how their life will be defined. I just hope my love and adoration for them provides a temporary bandage on a wound I unknowingly inflicted on them.
Real soon, you can catch me blogging for ESPN again thank you espn for not letting my passion for sports perish. I work out a lot because it helps pass the time. I read the Bible everyday. Jail didn't make me find God, He's always been there. They can lock me up, but my spirit and my love can never be confined to prison walls.
But this isn't all about me, you are the reason for this letter. It's because of you Rebirth went gold when critics aborted it. It's because of you Young Money is and will always be a movement. If the weight of the world is on your shoulders, I beg of you, place it on mine. That's the least I could do for you, after all you have sacrificed for me. If I could, I'd write each one of you back. Because of this, my team and I have created a website where you can view my letters. Each week I'll answer as many questions as I possibly can.
Mia Edwards (Southern California) – I wish you nothing but the best for you. Earning your Masters in Library and Information Science is beautiful. I'll keep you in mind whenever I decide to do an autobiography on my life.
Kelly Holloman (Brooklyn) – I still remember your letter. You have a great spirit. Thank you for the words and being a real fan. I love you.
Nurris Terrero (New York) – Your letter was so thoughtful and sincere. The way you worded everything left me in awe. Please send suggestions on books I should read. I look forward to checking them out.
For real, this will be the best way we can communicate for the coming months. The same way yall miss me, I miss yall, only 100 times more. To those who hate. Hate is only a form love that hasn't found a way to express itself logically. Keep sending the letters and I promise keep responding. Thank YOU, thank YOU, thank YOU. No matter what they do to erase me, my love for you will always be permanent. Remember that. Take care. God bless.
Give me the patience that I need
To keep my piece of mind,
And with life's cares, I hope, Dear God,
Some happiness to find.
Give me the courage to face life`s trials
and not to from troubles run.
let me keep this thought in mind.
"Thy Will," not "Mine," be done.

Yukmouth Responds to Suge Knight Robbery / Assault
This is a first, Suge Knight was not involved in a assault/robbery incident involving Bay Area rapper Yukmouth on Monday (March 22), despite initial reports saying otherwise.
Police were seeking Knight for his alleged involvement in an incident earlier this week where Yukmouth was stuck up for $92,000 in jewelry while in the parking lot of a Ralph's supermarket in the San Fernando Valley.
During the week, further details were revealed. An LAPD detective said that the rapper (real name: Jerold Dwight Ellis III) had filed a police report that detailed the assault, naming Knight and 10 of his associates, as the culprits.
However, Yuk is denying those claims, stating that he and Knight are friends, and the police are just out to get him.
"L.A. police have been after Suge Knight for years and are lying about me to try to get him. If Suge was caught jaywalking they would lock him up," Yuk told VladTV.com. "I never filed a police report and I never pressed any charges. Me and Suge have always been cool. I wouldn't have had a meeting with him if I thought there was some sort of problem."
As far as the robbery, the rapper admits that it took place and says that it was "some other people that didn't have anything to do with Suge". He claims the police are investigating, but he refuses to talk to them.
Yuk also says innocent bystanders, watching the crime, filed the report. Not him.
"When the incident happened in the grocery store parking lot, other people called the police and filed reports," Yuk explained. "The L.A. police have been calling me trying to have me come in and cooperate, but it's not happening."
Since the incident, a photo of Yukmouth's chain was posted on Twitter by Black Wall Street recording artist, The Menace, with the message: "For $sale lol."
However, he later says he found the photo online. "Shit man ... I don't know nothin' ... lol, niggas i got that off the net," he wrote (@SlimMenace).
Aside from the robbery, it's business as usual for Yukmouth. He's currently preparing the release of a new solo album, titled Free At Last, set to drop June 1st through his own Smoke-A-Lot Records.

411: Rev Run Speaks On Son Diggy’s Hiphop
15 year old son of kings of rock, Run DMC legend, Rev Run is completely behind Diggy Simmons and his burgeoning hiphop career signing to Atlantic Records and will not let school get in the way of stacking Benjamins.
XXLMag.com called Run to get his fatherly word on the could-be heir to his father's emcee crown. Questions on whether the young-un is too young for this kinda attention on the mic in this cut-throat hiphop business were broached to the Rev, he remarks on daughter Angela and her Pastries sneaker business too.
“Never, I don’t discourage nobody in my house,” he said. “This is an entertainment house. My daughter Angela was in college, she was like, ‘Daddy, I don’t know what to do, I’m getting straight A’s in college, but Pastries is taking off.’ I’m like, ‘Peace college, go take your butt down to the sneaker office and go get that paper…that’s your college… We’ll get back to [school], Pastries is doing millions.’”
“This is a household that follows dad,” he continued. “I was in college when Run-D.M.C. started to hit, but I had to take a leave of absence. I’ve been absent ever since.”
His recent drop on the First Flight mixtape, has been furthering the Simmons' empire and painting Diggy with his own I.D. Borrowing Nas' classic beat earlier in the month the boy dropped the video for 'Made You Look (Flow Stoopid)' [Peep below]
