AMA Live: Jay-Z & Alicia + Eminem & 50
Jay-Z celebrates his first number one single across the country, live at the American Music Awards at L.A.'s Nokia Theater - "Empire State of Mind" with the premier songstress, Alicia Keys. "Women lie, men lie, number's don't lie!"
Eminem plays 'Crack A Bottle' with the now monstrous protege, 50 Cent supporting him. Mediocre performance for the once Slim Shady, 50 drops an unenthusiastic verse. Peep the AMA performance.

Video: "Empire State of Mind" by Jay-Z & Alicia Keys
MTV just reported that Jay and Alicia went and reworked their NY anthem. Part 2 will feature a new verse from Hov and will be features on Ms. Keys’ upcoming album Element of Freedom. No Lil Mama. UPDATE: There’s been a few rumors flying out the web about a possible tour between these two, but nothing was concrete… until now. Looks like Jeezy will be opening up for Hov in the 2010 North American Tour.
Directed by Hype Williams.

Live at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards: Jay-Z performs "Empire State Of Mind" with Alicia Keys. Also after opening act, first award announcement, Kanye ruins Taylor Swift's VMA acceptance speech, all for the good of Beyonce who lost the nomination for Best Music Video. Hellova night for the Roc Boys.
Taylor Swift stands dumbfounded as Kanye West crashes her big moment during the MTV Music Video Awards by declaring that Beyonce should have bested her in the female video award category.
Singer Kanye West stole the microphone away from Taylor Swift -- taking her thunder with it -- as she accepted her award for best female video.
The 19-year-old was giddy when she won, saying: "I always wondered what it would be like to maybe win one of these someday, but never actually thought it would happen." Even in her wildest dreams, she probably didn't conjure up the next unfortunate event.
West jumped on stage, took the microphone and protested that Beyonce's "Single Ladies" video should have taken the prize, according to Entertainment Weekly.
"Taylor, I'm really happy for you, and I'm gonna let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time," he said, as a shocked Beyonce looked on and the crowd began to boo West.
