The 9th studio drop, Untitled from Nas is top billin on the Billboard charts this week. According to Nielsen's Soundscan the first week sales of Untitled pushed 187,078 units bumping Lil Wayne off the number one spot.

Weezy's new released album at six weeks old has now come within reach of double platinum. According to Nielsen, Tha Carter III scanned 105,590 units this week, collectively making grand total sales of the album to 1,912,052.

Rapper Nas has been offered a partnership deal with athletic apparel, Fila.

As reported on Billboard.com, the one year partnership deal was brokered after Nas was spotted shopping at Fila Manhattan, New York. Nas will agree to sport Fila clothing, promote the label and sideline his 80's athletic clothing collection. Fila will bankroll his publicity campaign and upcoming tour in a reciprocal offer as part of promoting his new untitled album due out on July 15th through Def Jam.

“My best friend Will and I loved Fila,” Nas tells Billboard. “It represented prestige and everything that was cool to us. When Will passed, we buried him in a black Fila sweat suit, so doing a deal with them has a lot of significance for me.”
